Opportunity Finder — Export & Persona Assignment

Export the filtered keyword list to Excel for deliverables, and assign keywords to personas for adapted content generation.

What is it?

Two workflows at the end of your opportunity work. Export XLSX downloads the currently filtered table as a formatted Excel file — handy for client deliverables or sharing with writers without access to the app. Persona assignment attaches keywords to specific personas so the persona's adapted-questions list can use them later during content generation.

When should I use it?

You just finished a keyword research sprint and need to hand off a shortlist.
You want a monthly or quarterly report for a client showing the opportunity pipeline.
You've picked a keyword and want it queued under the persona most likely to care about it.

How to use it

Export to Excel

Apply any filters you want reflected in the export (search, exclude, longtail, etc.).
Click Export XLSX in the top toolbar (green button with download icon).
The file downloads immediately. Columns include: keyword, potential score, volume, difficulty, current rank, source (GSC / Bing / Chatbase / Peec / AlsoAsked), impressions, clicks.

Assign to Persona

Open the PAA modal for a keyword (see PAA).
Tick the questions you want to keep.
Click Assign to Persona and pick the target persona. Questions become part of that persona's adapted-questions set.
Later, when you generate content for that persona, the adapted questions appear as content inputs.

Tips and best practices

Only the filtered rows export — apply filters intentionally before clicking. Double-check the row count matches your expectation.
Name exported files with a date and client slug for easy archival.
Assign PAA questions to personas incrementally as you work through keyword research — it builds up a rich content library over time.

Gotchas and limits

Export file size scales with row count. 10k+ rows produce ~1 MB files.
The exported columns are fixed for now — column customization is a planned feature.
Persona assignment is per-client — personas from other clients aren't available in the picker.
Once assigned, removing a question from a persona happens in the Personas screen, not here.
