Page Explorer — Cluster to Content Studio
Send a saved cluster to Content Studio as a pre-selected primary keyword plus 1-2 secondary keywords, with anti-stuffing rules already enforced.
What is it?
The handoff between Page Explorer and Content Studio. When you click Send to Content Studio on a cluster, the smart picker chooses the highest-potential primary keyword and 1–2 secondary keywords from the cluster (using Jaccard similarity + intent shape), then opens Content Studio pre-populated. The anti-stuffing rules from the prompt builder are passed along: each secondary appears at most once verbatim, never alongside another secondary in the same sentence.
When should I use it?
- A Page Explorer cluster looks like a single-article topic, not a multi-piece plan.
- You want quick output for a tactical update, not a full content plan.
- You're piloting a topic and want to write one piece before committing to a full cluster.
How to use it
- Open Page Explorer and pick a page.
- Cluster the queries (if not already) and save the clusters.
- On any saved cluster, click Send to Content Studio.
- Content Studio opens with the primary keyword and secondary keyword chips pre-filled.
- Edit the chips if you want — the smart picker is a starting point, not a verdict.
- Continue the normal Content Studio flow (see Content Studio overview).
Tips and best practices
- The smart picker prefers transactional or comparison intent for primary keywords — adjust if you really want an informational primary.
- Cross-cluster suggestions appear under the chip row — use them to widen the secondary set without re-clustering.
- If the cluster is too broad for a single article, send it to Plans instead via Use in Content Plan.
Gotchas and limits
- The handoff carries the keyword selection; it does NOT pre-fill persona, brand voice, or content type — those come from the Content Studio defaults.
- If you change clients after clicking through, the keyword chips persist but lose their cluster context.
- Anti-stuffing rules only apply during article generation, not at edit time — you can manually add a third secondary if you want, but the writer will treat the third as a soft hint, not a constraint.
