Content Studio — Keyword & Language Setup
Define the target keyword, content language, and secondary keywords that shape the generated article.
What is it?
The top section of Content Studio's left panel. The Target Keyword / Topic input is the article's focus — usually copied from the Opportunity Finder but you can type anything. The Content Language dropdown controls output language (English, Hebrew, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, and more — the app auto-RTL where needed). The Secondary Keywords panel suggests related terms based on keyword similarity and page overlap from GSC data; you tick the ones to weave in.
When should I use it?
- You picked a keyword from Opportunity Finder and the fields prefilled — review, adjust, proceed.
- You're writing for a non-English client — set the language before generating.
- You want the article to cover a small cluster of terms, not just the head keyword.
How to use it
- Enter or paste a keyword into the Target Keyword / Topic input.
- Pick a language from the dropdown. Defaults to the client's primary language.
- Expand the Secondary Keywords section. The app auto-populates recommendations based on keyword similarity. Tick the ones you want included.
- (Optional) Toggle Backlink Only if this is a pure backlink/citation article (no social posts or meta description).
Tips and best practices
- 3–5 secondary keywords is the sweet spot. More than that pulls the article in too many directions.
- For RTL languages (Hebrew, Arabic), the article preview auto-flips. No extra setting needed.
- The keyword is stored verbatim — if your keyword has typos or weird capitalization, the AI will reproduce them. Clean it up first.
- Regenerate the prompt preview after changing keywords or personas to see what's actually being sent.
Gotchas and limits
- Very long keywords (>80 chars) are usually topic descriptions, not search terms. The AI handles them but ranking odds drop.
- Secondary keyword recommendations need GSC data. Without GSC, the panel shows manual input only.
- Language affects everything — article, social posts, meta description, references (Manus will prefer region-appropriate sources).
- You can't change language mid-draft. Regenerate a new draft if the language was wrong.
