Content Studio — Persona Selector & Prompt Editor
Pick which personas the article is written for, and inspect or customize the full AI prompt before generation.
What is it?
Two controls that shape the AI's output. The Target Personas selector shows the client's personas with AI-ranked relevance scores for the current keyword — tick one or more. The Customize AI Prompt editor reveals the full assembled prompt (base prompt + persona briefs + secondary keywords + adapted questions + strict content rules). You can edit freely; your edits override defaults.
When should I use it?
- You want the article to speak to a specific persona's pain points, not a generic audience.
- You want to include multiple personas for broader appeal.
- You want to see exactly what's being sent to the AI before pressing Generate.
- You want to add special instructions (tone, format, must-include phrases) the UI doesn't expose.
How to use it
- Expand the Target Personas panel. Recommended personas appear at the top with a 0–100 relevance score for this keyword.
- Tick one or more. Each tick adds that persona's profile to the prompt (goals, frustrations, voice).
- (Optional) Expand Customize AI Prompt to review or edit the full prompt. Changes are live — the prompt is regenerated on the fly with a 500 ms debounce.
- To restore defaults after editing, click Regenerate Prompt.
Tips and best practices
- Single-persona articles usually convert better than multi-persona ones. Multi-persona is for pillar content or awareness-stage pieces.
- High-score personas (80+) are strong matches. Below 50 means the AI thinks the keyword doesn't fit that persona — reconsider.
- Read the customized prompt once — it's surprisingly instructive and helps you understand what the AI actually sees.
- The editor preserves manual edits until you click Regenerate — be careful if you switch keywords mid-edit.
Gotchas and limits
- Personas must exist in the client's persona library first. Create them in the Personas screen.
- Very long prompts (5000+ tokens) can trim context or hit model limits. Trim aggressively if editing manually.
- Adapted-question data loads per persona. If a persona has zero adapted questions for the keyword, the prompt still uses its profile but skips the questions block.
- Prompt edits don't persist after generation — each run starts fresh from the current inputs.
