Content Studio — Generation Modes (Gemini vs Manus, High-Fidelity)
Pick between Gemini (fast) and Manus (citations), and optionally toggle High-Fidelity Mode for stricter writing quality.
What is it?
Two toggle groups above the Generate button.
Gemini vs Manus AI — picks the model.
- Gemini (Fast) — produces a full content suite (article + social + visuals) in ~30 s. No external browsing; no citations.
- Manus AI (Citations) — an agent that browses the web, finds authoritative sources, and writes with inline citations. Takes 1–3 min, runs fire-and-forget, and costs credits.
High-Fidelity Mode — a quality gate. When on, injects extra directives into the prompt: fact-driven claims, banned AI clichés, tighter structure rules, editorial integrity (brand neutrality), purposeful conclusions.
When should I use it?
- Use Gemini when: drafting fast, iterating on angles, social-first content, tight deadlines, no need for citations.
- Use Manus when: industry reports, how-tos, anything fact-heavy, content that needs to cite sources, authoritative/B2B articles.
- Toggle High-Fidelity on when: publishing to a high-standard venue, client review imminent, content quality > generation speed.
How to use it
- Click the Gemini (Fast) or Manus AI (Citations) button above the Generate button. Only visible if Manus is connected for this client.
- Toggle High-Fidelity Mode to add the quality directives. The prompt preview updates immediately.
- Click the generate button at the bottom. The label changes based on mode — Generate Content Suite (Gemini), Generate with Manus AI (Manus), Generate Backlink Article (if backlink mode).
Tips and best practices
- Start with Gemini for drafts. Switch to Manus when the keyword genuinely needs external sources.
- High-Fidelity costs a small token increase but usually improves readability noticeably. Leave it on by default.
- Manus credits are visible in the Asset Library badge after each generation — monitor usage.
- Backlink articles (for link-building) generally benefit from Manus + High-Fidelity for authority.
Gotchas and limits
- Manus requires a Manus API key connected under Data Sources. If greyed out, connect the account.
- Manus generations can run 10+ minutes in rare cases. The poller continues running even if you close the app.
- High-Fidelity injects ~400 extra tokens into the prompt. Negligible cost, but trims a bit of context room.
- Gemini can't browse. Asking it to "find recent studies" produces hallucinations. Use Manus for that.
