Opportunity Finder — Suggest Top Picks
Ask Gemini to review every opportunity and recommend the top 2 low-hanging fruit keywords with specific content angles.
What is it?
The Suggest Top Picks button in the top toolbar sends your full opportunity list to Gemini with instructions to find the two keywords with the highest "easy win" potential. It returns each pick with the keyword, its metrics (search volume, difficulty, current rank), a reason, and a specific EEAT content angle — the type of content (expert review, comparison, how-to, etc.) most likely to rank.
Results render inside a dismissable blue card above the table. Each keyword is a clickable pill that filters the table to that keyword immediately.
When should I use it?
- You have hundreds or thousands of opportunities and want a shortlist without manual sorting.
- You're briefing a writer and need strategic justification for each pick.
- You want a senior-SEO "second opinion" on what to work on next.
- You want a copy-paste summary for a client email or sprint plan.
How to use it
- Make sure opportunities are loaded in the table.
- Click Suggest Top Picks at the top right (purple gradient button with sparkle icon).
- Wait 10–20 seconds. The button shows Analyzing… while Gemini reviews the data.
- Read the result card. Each keyword is a solid indigo pill — click it to filter the table.
- On the filtered table, click Analyze on the keyword row to dig deeper, or Create Content to jump to Content Studio.
Tips and best practices
- Re-run after any major filter change (e.g. longtail-only). Gemini's picks depend on what it sees.
- The content angle is often more valuable than the keyword itself — it tells you how to win, not just what to target.
- If Gemini picks keywords that aren't right for your client, refine the opportunity list first (e.g. exclude competitor brand names) before re-running.
Gotchas and limits
- Costs Gemini tokens — each run sends the full opportunity list in the prompt. Don't run it repeatedly without reason.
- Picks aren't deterministic. The same list can return different picks on different runs.
- Requires at least a few dozen opportunities to be useful. On a fresh account with <20 keywords, pick quality degrades.
- The result card is dismissable with the × icon — once closed, re-run if you want to see it again.
