Scheduler — Event Details Panel
Click any event chip to open a detail panel with draft info, publish actions, and delete.
What is it?
When you click an event chip on the calendar grid (or in the Upcoming Queue), a panel opens with that event's details: linked draft title, platform, scheduled date, status, and action buttons. From here you can change the date, jump to the underlying draft in Content Studio, publish now, or delete the event.
When should I use it?
- You need to change a scheduled date without drag-drop (useful on mobile or when precise date picking is needed).
- You want to jump to the draft to edit it before publish.
- You want to delete an event without affecting the draft.
- You want to confirm which draft an event points to.
How to use it
- Click an event chip on the calendar or in the Upcoming Queue.
- The detail panel opens — desktop: side panel; mobile: bottom sheet.
- Edit date to reschedule via a date picker.
- Open in Studio to view/edit the draft in Content Studio.
- Publish Now (if connected to a destination) to skip the scheduler and push immediately.
- Delete to remove the event. The draft is preserved.
- Close with × or click outside the panel.
Tips and best practices
- Use Open in Studio when social or article content needs quick edits before publishing — faster than searching Asset Library.
- The delete action is immediate — no confirmation dialog. If you click it by mistake, re-schedule from Content Studio.
- Publishing now is final — you can't "unpublish" from here. Use WordPress admin or LinkedIn directly to roll back.
Gotchas and limits
- Publish Now only works for platforms where the connection supports direct publish (currently WordPress). LinkedIn/Facebook don't publish directly — you still need to post manually.
- Deleting the only event for a draft leaves the draft in "Ready" state in Asset Library, not "Scheduled".
- On mobile, the bottom sheet covers the calendar grid — close it to see adjacent days.
- Viewers see the panel but all action buttons are disabled.
