Asset Library — Filters, Search, Column Presets
Narrow the draft list by status, columns, and keyword search.
What is it?
Three tools above the draft list: a Status filter with checkboxes (Draft, Ready, Scheduled, Published, Generating), a Column visibility menu (⚙ icon) to hide/show columns in Table view, and a free-text Search that matches keyword and title substrings. Filters combine — you can see "published" + keyword "locksmith" at the same time.
When should I use it?
- You're looking for unpublished drafts to ship — filter to Ready only.
- You need to track what's currently generating — filter to Generating.
- Your Table view is cluttered — hide columns you don't use.
- You're searching for a specific piece you can half-remember.
How to use it
Status filter
- Click the Status dropdown.
- Tick or untick the statuses you want to include. The label updates to reflect the count (e.g. "Show 2 statuses").
- Results update live. Click outside the dropdown to close.
Column visibility
- In Table view, click the ⚙ (cog) icon in the top-right.
- Tick or untick columns: Keyword, Topic, Title, Status, Created, Used, etc.
- Settings are remembered per user (per device) in localStorage.
Search
- Type into the Search box. Filter applies as you type with a slight debounce.
- Clear with the × inside the input.
Tips and best practices
- Filter to Scheduled to double-check your publishing calendar without switching to the Calendar screen.
- In Table view, hide the Topic and Author columns if you don't use them — the table becomes much more scannable.
- Active filters show visibly in the status dropdown label — good reminder that a filter is on.
Gotchas and limits
- Search is substring-only. "Locksmith" matches "locksmith frisco" but not "lokesmith" (typo).
- Column presets are per-device. Logging in on a new device resets to defaults.
- Setting filters doesn't persist across full page reloads — they reset each session.
- Deleted drafts disappear from filters immediately; no confirmation toast.
