Content Studio — Save, Export, and Schedule
Ship the draft — download a ZIP, save to Google Drive, schedule on the Calendar, or publish straight to WordPress.
What is it?
The action-bar buttons above the tab row — Download ZIP, Save to Drive, Approve & Schedule (green primary), and the Refine button for Manus drafts. Each corresponds to an output workflow. Drafts auto-save to Firestore on every edit, so these actions are about distribution, not saving.
When should I use it?
- Download ZIP when you need a file bundle to hand to a writer, an email attachment, or offline work.
- Save to Drive to create a Word doc inside the client's Drive folder — ideal for client review loops.
- Approve & Schedule when the draft is ready to go live — books a publish date on the Calendar.
- Publish to WordPress (inside the Approve modal) when the WP connector is set up and you want direct publish.
How to use it
Download ZIP
- Click the download icon in the action bar.
- You get a ZIP with:
article.md,meta.txt, social posts as separate.txtfiles, areferences.txt(if Manus), and any generated images.
Save to Google Drive
- Click the Drive icon.
- The app creates (or reuses) a subfolder inside the client's Drive folder, named after the keyword/title.
- A Word document is uploaded there. A folder link appears on the draft card in Asset Library.
Approve & Schedule
- Click Approve & Schedule (green button).
- Pick a date on the date picker. Multiple events are created — one for the article, one for each social post.
- Optionally tick Publish to WordPress immediately (if WP is connected) to push the article live now.
- Confirm. The draft moves to Scheduled in Asset Library.
Tips and best practices
- Save to Drive before scheduling — it gives clients a review artifact.
- Schedule article + social for the same day (or stagger social by 1–2 hours) for a cohesive launch.
- WordPress publishing auto-appends the Sources section from Manus references. No extra formatting needed.
- Team members see the schedule on the same Calendar — coordinate with editors to avoid collisions.
Gotchas and limits
- Save to Drive requires Drive connected. For team members, this uses your Drive, not the owner's.
- Publish to WordPress requires the NexusSEO Connector plugin installed on the target WP site.
- Viewers can't click any of these buttons — all gated by RBAC.
- Once scheduled, you can still edit the draft in Asset Library — but scheduled events don't auto-update if you change the article. Re-schedule or remove and re-approve.
